It is one of my Chinese restaurant, and some of my favorite food that makes me return is their signature food for me, which is the Curry Shrimp and Egg Drop Soup, Everything was very delicious. The service was friendly and prompt.

The food here is quite good, at least the things I typically order. The roast pork fried rice and pork lo mein are excellent. The shrimp eggrolls are strange. They are quite tasty but the smallest I have ever seen in a Chinese restaurant in my life--slightly larger than a D battery. I didn't love the wantons in the wanton soup, but the broth was good and I ate it all anyway, so it must not have been too bad. The shrimp with lobster sauce wasn't what I expected, quite yellow, very eggy, and not much shrimp. Won't order that again. Overall, I guess I'd say they do a superior job with the stuff I typically order, but I'm taking away a star for full priced half sized eggrolls. Service is fast and friendly and inside the restaurant is clean. The shopping center is a sad sad place. But I'll go back.

Always enjoy the food here it arrives fresh and hot. Egg rolls are solid and the lo mein is good too. Sesame chicken is tasty as was the dumplings everything Is great and the person taking the order is super friendly.

Stopped by here for quick lunch takeout while in Winston-Salem. As soon as I googled Chinese food near me, this was the number one location. I ordered shrimp lo mein and shrimp fried rice. Everything was pretty good- the only thing I would say is that the rice barely had flavor. Deducted a star because of that.

Great authentic taste Had delivery and it smelled amazing The noodles are crisp and soup is on point

I called in my order on 11/19/20. I got chicken and broccoli with no rice, extra broccoli, and the sauce on the side. It was ready upon pick up. Ordering on the phone was quick and easy. To me, it tasted plain, so I used some of the sauce it came with. I thought it was soy sauce, but it's not. It's brown sauce. Unfortunately, I'm not supposed to have brown sauce because I'm doing keto. Thankfully, I didn't have too too much. That's no fault at the restaurant. I should've asked before I ate it and no afterwards. The location could be an issue for some. I've been here more than once but first time in a while. There is always a seemingly homeless person right outside the entrance. Some are chill who will ask once and that's it. Some are more persistent. I usually don't carry cash, so I just tell them that. Overall, speaking from other visits, the food is good. They have barriers up around the register for COVID protections. This visit was a quick in and out.

this was my first time trying this place! i was craving chinese and from where I live, this place had the highest google maps rating as well as good reviews. I am glad I looked at those reviews because this restaurant sells good food! I ordered a take out deal of pick 2 + pork fried rice deal. I got chicken skewers, general tso chicken and pork fried rice for $8.25! That is a great deal. the outside entrance is very simple with sign that says "Mr. Lu" over the door and the interior design is minimal with 4 tables. But the kitchen is huge and open so you can see how they are cooking and that adds a layer of trust to your food. The cashier is polite. My order was complete within ten minutes and it tasted very good. Sure, the chicken skewer was a little salty, but arent all chinese food kind of salty? Over seasoning is what fast chinese food is all about. The general tso had the expected sweet undertone amd was crispy! the pork fried rice, however, was actually not salty and not overly greasy, which i appreciated. overall, if you are looking for a low key, quick but tasty chinese food with fast service and abundant portion, Mr. Lu's is a solid choice!
